MeTV Announces Back to School Marathon

Grab your pencils and pack your lunch for this full-day event reliving all the fun of going back to school, from first class to graduation. And don’t forget your homework! Make the end of summer a little easier with a full day of episodes about learning, teachers, sports and all things back-to-school on MeTV. It all starts Sunday, August 25 at 8A | 7C!

8A | 7C: Saved By The Bell: “The Last Weekend” — It’s the last day at the beach resort and Zack and Stacy are hoping to spend it together. Carosi, however, doesn’t approve of their romance. Meanwhile, a secret admirer is sending Slater love letters.

8:30A | 7:30C: Saved By The Bell: “The Best Summer of My Life” — Zack stays home on the first day of school, and looks back on the time he’s spent at Malibu Sands.

9A | 8C: Saved By The Bell: “King of the Hill” — Zack starts high school ready to woo longtime crush Kelly, but A.C. Slater stands in his way. 

9:30A | 8:30C: Saved By The Bell: “The Fight” — Zach and Slater might turn back into rivals when they fall for a new girl from Idaho. Who’ll be the one to have a date with her?

10A | 9CThe Flintstones: “Flintstone of Prinstone” — Fred attends night classes and is drafted to be a quarterback on the school football team.

10:30A | 9:30C:The Flintstones: “The Bowling Ballet” —Fred secretly becomes a ballet pupil in order to regain his form for a big bowling match

11A | 10C:The Flintstones: “High School Fred” — Wilma thinks Fred is about to be promoted when Mr. Slate sends Fred to school for two weeks.

11:30A | 10:30CThe Jetsons: “Elroy’s Mob” — Elroy brings home the wrong report card by mistake, angering his father, which causes Elroy to run away with Astro.

12P | 11C:The Brady Bunch: “Vote for Brady” — Greg and Marcia rush home after school with the news that they’re both running for student body president. The boys and girls each take sides and soon each one of them is accusing the other of sabotage.

12:30P | 11:30CThe Brady Bunch: “Our Son, The Man” — Greg, tired of the antics of his younger siblings, thinks he should have his own room. Mike allows Greg to turn his den into his own room. This also leads to Greg dressing a whole new way and talking a whole new way, including calling his parents by their first names. 

1P | 12CLeave It to Beaver: “Wally’s Test” — An upcoming test in history, Wally’s weakest subject, has Wally studying all weekend and has Larry and Eddie coming up with a plan that will give them good grades on the test.

1:30P | 12:30C: Leave It to Beaver: “Beaver’s I.Q.” — After learning that he’s going to be taking an I.Q. test, Beaver hits the books, scared after his friends tell him that if he doesn’t pass he will be sent to “dumb school.”

2P | 1CThe Beverly Hillbillies: “Elly Starts School” —Elly May enrolls at a finishing school and her clothes start a fashion trend among the rich girls. 

2:30P | 1:30C:The Beverly Hillbillies: “Doctor Jed Clampett” — Jed gets an honorary doctorate when he donates money to a college, and the family thinks he is now a legit doctor. However, Granny isn’t pleased with hearing that Jed is now a real college doctor because she didn’t go to college. Granny does her best to get a degree herself, but doesn’t find much success. 

3P | 2C: Gilligan’s Island: “Agonized Labor” —Gilligan and the Skipper hear a radio broadcast telling of the collapse of the Howell financial empire. 

3:30P | 2:30C:Gilligan’s Island: “A Man With a Net” — Lord Beasley Waterford, a famous butterfly collector, lands on the island searching for the world’s rarest butterfly, the pussycat swallowtail.

4P | 3C: Mama’s Family: “Mama Learns to Drive” — Fed up with having to chauffeur Mama all over town, the family decides to teach her to drive. But when Mama finally gets her license, the family is too afraid to let her use their cars!

4:30P | 3:30CMama’s Family: “Educating Mama” — When Bubba enrolls in night school, the family convinces Mama to join him and earn her high school equivalency diploma.

5P | 4C:The Love Boat: “Making the Grade/The Gift/Doc’s ‘Ex’ Change” — Doc’s ex-wife says they are still wed. Meanwhile, a man finds $2,000 in a borrowed jacket, and a widow meets her son’s teacher.

6P | 5CThe Andy Griffith Show: “The Education of Ernest T. Bass” — Ernest T. is back in Mayberry to get his diploma. He is so determined that Andy convinces Helen to allow him to attend class, but Ernest T. isn’t exactly classroom material.

7P | 6CM*A*S*H: “End Run” — Billy Tyler, a young black sergeant, is brought into camp with a bullet wound in the leg. He is a football player, and when he discovers that his leg has been amputated, he wants to die. After talks with Radar, Billy agrees that he must live on.

7:30P | 6:30C: M*A*S*H: “Letters” — Members of the 4077th share their impressions of war in response to letters from fourth graders in Hawkeye’s hometown. Margaret writes about how there are some patients she will never forget, while the Colonel tells of his days as “Hoops.”

8P | 7CAll in the Family: “Mike’s Problem” — Mike is all stressed out with upcoming exams leaving him impotent and frustrated. Gloria encourages him to discuss it with her, but he refuses. Gloria confides in Edith what the problem is, and in turn she tells Archie. This leads Archie to enter the situation, trying to give Mike advice, but this just makes matters worse.

8:30P | 7:30C: All in the Family: “Class Reunion” — Edith gets an invitation to attend her 30th high school class reunion, but when Archie refuses to escort her, she decides not to go. When her Cousin Amelia shows up to question Edith about her decision, Edith learns that an old flame, Buck, will be attending the reunion. Suddenly, Archie decides that he would like to go. However, when Buck does finally show up, Archie is in for a surprise since the once good looking track star seems to have lost his good looks.

9P | 8C:All in the Family: “Archie Learns His Lesson” — Archie swears Edith into secrecy when he begins attending night-school classes to qualify for a high school diploma in hopes of getting a promotion at work. However, Edith spills the beans and soon Mike and Archie must learn to share a study space, but that proves to be difficult.

9:30P | 8:30C: All in the Family: “Mike’s Graduation” — Mike’s graduation day is coming up fast and Mike is a nervous wreck as he studies for his exams. Surprisingly, Archie begins acting nicely to Mike, since Archie has high hopes that once Mike graduates, he will finally move out of the house and begin repaying Archie the room and board that he owes him. However, as Mike’s test results come in, Archie’s in for a shock as Mike is offered a fellowship to get his masters degree thus, the Stivics are going to live for one more year with the Bunkers.

11P | 10C: The Dick Van Dyke Show: “Fourty-Four Tickets” — Rob has two days to find 44 tickets to “The Alan Brady Show” promised to the PTA.

11:30P | 10:30C:The Dick Van Dyke Show: “Father of the Week” — Richie isn’t happy when Rob is awarded “Father of the Week”.

12A | 11C:The Honeymooners: “Mama Loves Mambo” — A new neighbor wears out his welcome teaching good manners and the mambo.
