The season two finale! We have reached the end of the Halloween Havoc series. WCW dies not with a big bang, but with a whimper. Halloween Havoc 2000 constantly lands on worst pay per views ever lists. Do your trios tag team champions agree? There are many sighs, swears, and a very short debate at the end of the episode.
Along the way we debate if WCW could have used their own version of NXT. How exactly does one check DNA? Is this the worst announce team we’ve ever listened to? How much happened “earlier tonight?” We try to figure out who to blame for booking this card, bro. Finally, we previously announced this week’s Hot Tag of the night but, could WCW booking affect this as well?
Halloween Havoc 2000 matches include:
- Sean O’Haire and Mark Jindrak (part of the Natural Born Thrillers) (WCW Tag Team Champions) vs Billy Kidman and Rey Mysterio Jr (part of the Filthy Animals) vs The Boogie Knights – Disqo and Alex Wright.
- Reno (WCW Hardcore Champion) vs Sgt AWOL (part of Misfits in Action).
- Lt. Loco and Cpl. Cajun (part of Misfits in Action) vs The Perfect Event – Shawn Stasiak and Chuck Palumbo (also part of the Natural Born Thrillers).
- Konnan and Tygress (of the aforementioned Filthy Animals) vs Shane Douglas and Torrie Wilson.
- Buff Bagwell vs David Flair in a First Blood DNA Match.
- Mike Sanders (with Stasiak and Palumbo) (and all of them in Natural Born Thrillers) vs Ernest Miller (with Ms Jones) in a Kickboxing Match.
- Mike Awesome vs Vampiro.
- Gen. Rection (OMG, seriously, again? Part of MIA) vs Lance Storm (WCW United States but he’s calling it Canadian champion) and Jim Duggan (with Major Gunns) (and they’re all in Team Canada) in a Handicap Match.
- Jeff Jarrett vs Sting.
- Booker T (WCW World Heavyweight champion) vs Scott Steiner (with Midajah).
- Goldberg vs Kronik in a Handicap Elimination Match.
