We’ve talked to the Retro Network and have been granted extra time. That’s right, we’re going to discuss WCW Halloween Havoc 1998…the night WCW went off the air.
WCW Halloween Havoc 1998 took place on October 25, 1998 once again from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas in front of over 10,000 fans and millions more at home who wanted their money back. This tenth installment of Halloween Havoc is notorious for going off the air before the main event. The show ran nearly three and a half hours but the feed was cut at the three hour mark. Hollywood Hogan and the Warrior face off in a rematch from WrestleMania VI. Goldberg takes on Diamond Dallas Page for the WCW title, but the show goes to black as they lock up. WCW played the main event for free the next night on Nitro and it’s one of the best matches in Halloween Havoc history.
