SequelQuest Rewind | A Garbage Pail Kids Sequel | EP61

(From November 2017)

They’re grimy, they’re goopy, they’re all a little loopy…it’s the Garbage Pail Kids movie! Did you know these deformed Cabbage Patch dolls got their own movie in 1987 starring Mackenzie Astin from The Facts of Life? The film actually happened and was promptly taken out with the trash.

Adam and Jeramy decided to do some dumpster diving with special guest, Chad from horrormoviebbq.com and talk about what could possibly be done to create a Garbage Pail Kids The Movie sequel. Warning: It gets gross.

In addition to reminiscing about the original GPK fad of the late 80s, we let our imaginations run wild on how these gross-out goblins could hit it big in a modern world. We propose a universe where Will Smith is secretly a Garbage Pail Kids fan, a kid actor from Stranger Things gets the lead role and uncover the secret of who is buying all those G.I. Joe figures online.

Listen now for some trashy, toxic fun on SequelQuest.
