This final mix tape entry is completely self serving. I built it for MY someone special. With one exception, all the songs are from the 80’s and 90’s. I have to admit it was hard to hold several of these songs off the lists earlier in the week. This playlist, however, contains several songs that are important to us: a song from our wedding last summer, one of the first songs we danced to when we were dating, a song from an artist who hails from the great state of South Carolina (her home state), and several others. And, in the end, isn’t that what mix tapes were really about? Conveying what someone meant to you or how you were feeling about them? So, your turn. What would be on your mix tape to your “someone special”?
