TRN Game Night: Situation Jukebox 002

TRN Game Night returns with members of The Retro Network nation facing off in a new episode of Situation Jukebox, the improv music game that chooses songs in response to specific situations.

Playing along in this podcast will be returning champion Stacey (@geeky_vixen), Adam (@hojukoolander), Kevin (@teamhellions), Eric (@Eric_Vardeman) and Jason (@RD80s) who will also be the host. Using cards from the Boombox game, each round will consist of a different situation in which all contestants will try to come up with the perfect song. After each choice is given, players vote for their favorite and the winner receives a point. Once a player reaches 3 points, they win the game! Our twist is, song choices all have to be at least 20 years old and cannot be use again once chosen. If there is a tie, players come up with another song followed by another round of voting.

Listen to see if Stacey can defend her title and be crowned our Situation Jukebox Hero! Plus, check out our new BONUS ROUND!!! After finishing the main game, Stacey, Kevin and Jason stick around for a bonus game: compile a 3-song playlist based on one situation and have the listeners choose the winner! Vote on Twitter now to decide who wins the bonus round. You can also find this episode’s song choices in the Situation Jukebox 002 Spotify playlist (thanks to Eric!)
