Coming up on June 1, 2023, The Retro Network will be celebrating its fourth birthday! To commemorate the occasion, we’re doing a very special podcast, and we want YOU to take part and help us out with it.
In the same vein as this year’s Christmas Special podcast, we’re encouraging everyone to call the TRN hotline and leave us a voicemail telling us your memories of a memorable birthday of your own from through the years. Maybe there was a year you got a great toy like Castle Grayskull or a set of Power Rangers toys. Maybe you remember a birthday party at McDonald’s. Whatever the memory, we’d love to hear it!
All of the voicemails will be combined into what should be a very fun podcast for all listeners, and we take everyone on many trips down memory lane!
It’s easy and a toll-free call. All you have to do is call the hotline at 678-TALKTRN (678-825-5876), tell us who you are and where you can be found online (if that applies), and leave us a message with your memory (3-minute max). Example: “Happy birthday TRN, this is Mickey from RetroRamblings.com. Back in 1987, I got to have several friends for a sleepover for my birthday. My friend Lance gave me the awesome Modulok MOTU figure. My friends and I stayed up all night and yadda yadda yadda…” You get the idea.
