The holiday season is arriving fast, and MeTV is getting an early start. The network has announced the return of “A Very Merry MeTV,” a weeks‑long celebration packed with classic Thanksgiving and Christmas episodes, animated specials, TV movies and other seasonal favorites. The event begins Sunday, November 22 and continues through Christmas Day.
This year’s lineup includes holiday episodes from MeTV’s recently added series The Golden Girls, along with a wide selection of classic sitcoms and dramas pulled from the network’s deep library. Viewers will see festive installments of The Mary Tyler Moore Show, The Monkees, The Odd Couple, The Bob Newhart Show, Cheers and many others that are not part of MeTV’s regular schedule.
MeTV’s weekday morning series Toon In With Me will join the celebration starting December 14. Bill the Cartoon Curator and Toony the Tuna will host two weeks of themed episodes featuring holiday cartoon shorts and other seasonal surprises.
