The Haunted House Show: WCW Halloween Havoc 1990

Shame!

Shame!

It’s time once again to break down all the winners and losers over today’s 3 hour wrestling event. Except, this time, someone dropped the ball.

Find out how Kevin messed up and lost an hour of the PPV. All three hours of Halloween Havoc 1990 were seen live on October 27, 1990 in Chicago, Illinois at the UIC Pavilion for 8,000 fans. Four matches were deleted for the VHS release, and that is the version that the WWE Network airs. But the big matches for the World title, the U.S. title, and tag after tag after tag team match are here in their entirety.

After your favorite trios tag team champions are done casting blame the conversation gets hot. The hot tag of the week. Hot body talk. Hot drug talk. And best of all, hot gout talk. There’s a big Hasbro wrestlers update. Plus we debate the morality of making money off of death.

Halloween Havoc 1990 matches include:

  • Tommy Rich and Ricky Morton vs. The Midnight Express (with Jim Cornette).
  • The Fabulous Freebirds (with Little Richard Marley) vs The Renegade Warriors.
  • The Steiner Brothers (NWA United States tag team champions) vs. The Nasty Boys.
  • Doom (NWA World tag team champions) (with Teddy Long) vs Ric Flair and Arn Anderson.
  • Stan Hansen vs. Lex Luger (United States champion).
  • Sting (NWA World heavyweight champion) vs. Sid Vicious.
