Charles Entertainment Cheese, better known to millions of kids and adults as Chuck E. Cheese is getting his own animated Christmas Special, titled The Chuck E. Cheese Christmas Special
The Christmas special is billed as the first Chuck E. Cheese animated special. The Christmas special is written and produced by Zac Moncrief and Jon Colton Barry, best know for drawing and writing Phineas and Ferb as well as Be Cool, Scooby-Doo and many more.
Voice cast includes Nathan Kress (iCarly, Star Wars: Rebels) as Chuck E. Cheese with veteran voice actors Grey Griffin (Invincible, The Fairly OddParents), Nolan North (Uncharted, Blaze and the Monster Machines), Kari Wahlgren (Rick & Morty) and Fred Tatasciore (Kung Fu Panda 2).
The Chuck E. Cheese Christmas Special will feature all-new original Christmas song co-written by Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Jeff Barry and his son John Colton Barry. Jeff Barry wrote “I’m a Believer” for the Monkees, “Sugar Sugar” for the Archies and “Christmas (Baby Please Come Home).”

According to Chuck E. Cheese Entertainment the special is “…the beginning of a long-term vision to transform beloved characters into a storytelling universe for today’s kids and families. […] This is more than just a TV special — it’s a milestone moment for the Chuck E. Cheese brand”
While The Chuck E. Cheese Christmas Special (2025) is billed as the first animated special it’s not actually the first Chuck E. Cheese Christmas special. In the 1990’s Chuck E. Cheese produced several Christmas specials that aired in the restaurants.
It’s not even the first Chuck E. Cheese animated Christmas Special, although it will be the first to air on TV. In the early 80s production began on an animated Chuck E. Cheese Christmas special called “The Christmas That Almost Wasn’t.” It was scheduled for release during the 1983 holiday season but canceled due to the video game crash of 1983.
The Chuck E. Cheese Christmas Special (2025) is in production now, with release set for the 2025 holiday season. Share your thoughts on the upcoming Chuck E. Cheese Christmas Special in the cooments section below.
