In 1985 John Hughes released the science fantasy teen comedy Weird Science starring Anthony Michael Hall, Bill Paxton and Kelly LeBrock. The film was a modest hit filled with psycho biker gangs, mutated bully brothers and cartoonish hijinks that was miles away from The Breakfast Club.
The movie inspired a long running television show of the same name, but the film universe has remained untouched. No sequel, no reboot, no chips, dips, chains or whips. And so the SequelQuest crew along with returning guest host, Colin are ready to revisit the idea of nerdy teens creating a magical friend to help them achieve their dreams in this podcast adventure that’s not afraid to get WEIRD!
